We all girls want to look good everyday. Right? We splurge on thousands of rupees on makeup, expensive branded skin care creams, serums and spa treatments inorder to look good but in this fast paced lifestyle we’ve forgotten very basic and quintessential things in life, like, FOOD to begin with!

Ofcourse food is magic. Food is the solution to all pain and agony (lol but true) . We have become so superficial that we even treat our problems superficially instead of looking at the problem from the root level. Since food gives us the power to sustain this life, in a way it also heals and repairs. Hence its important to pay heed to what goes into our mouth. Food can literally transform our external appearance, internal health, our mood and everything else in general. Thus, we must do our own good research on healthy foods and pick whats best for us,

However, here’s a simple no brainer list of foods that can enhance your beauty both inside and out.

1. *Nuts and Seeds* ranging from simply almonds, flax seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and nut butters like home made peanut butter and almond butter, all of these contain good fats which are essential for good skin and hair. They all fight free radicals in the air and protect us from acne, aging, sun burn, and hair fall and balance out our hormones.

2. *Vitamin C rich foods*

It could be just be lemon water without salt/sugar, orange’s, mosambis, pineapples, grapes, kiwis etc to begin with inorder to get blemish free skin safe from free radicals in the environment.

3. *Protein rich foods*

Since protein helps the body in the synthesis of new red blood cells, it keeps the skin glowing and healthy from a deeper level. Protein sources can be different for every person. Ex- Chicken, fish, paneer, Soya, tofu, nut butters, eggs etc. Choose the best protein suitable for your body and consume good amounts of protein for glowing skin and strong hair.

4. *Leafy vegetables* since they’re easily available and rich in minerals and natural salts, they too enhance the quality of our skin, hair and general health. Thus it’s very important to have, good amounts of green leafy vegetables.
